A policy setting is available that allows staff to archive clients instead of deleting them. Allowing staff to archive clients will retain client tool assignment data. Clients will be made inactive and placed on the “Unassigned Clients” list. Archived clients can be reassigned to a staff member should they become active again.
Activate Client Archiving
As an Agency Administrator go to the:
- Admin > Agency Policies and Setup
- Locate the "Allow Staff to Archive Clients" section
- Check the box for "Allow"
- Click "Save"
- Once enabled, a blue archiving button will appear on the "Manage Clients and Assign Tools" page.
- To archive a client, click the "Archive" button
- In the pop-up window, click "OK"
- The client will be removed from the active client's list and moved to the "Unassigned Clients" list
