Keep in mind the following points when incorporating the driver in the case plan:
- The case plan should initially address a person's driver and another criminogenic need for which a person is assessed at high risk.
- If the person has two drivers, both drivers can be addressed in the initial case plan.
- If a stabilization factor is at play, address it in the initial case plan along with one of the drivers. Then, when the person is stabilized, you can begin working on the other driver.
